Jamie’s efforts to promote healthy food in the United Kingdom has earned him a formal recognition from the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH). To be specific, Jamie has been raising causes for combating childhood obesity and has been joining community work for his food foundation.

Jamie Oliver struggled a lot in school as he was diagnosed with both ADHD and dyslexia. ADHD has the effect of being unable to concentrate and and focus while dyslexia affects one’s ability to read and write. With the lack of focus and troubles in reading and writing, Jamie performed poorly in school.

Jamie goes on to promote that the education system is not inclusive to all students because each person has different intelligence. Although Jamie did not have any academic qualification, he was able to attend the Westminster Catering College where he discovered his passion for making healthy cooking for children.
