The lead vocalist and front man of the multi-awarded pop rock band, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, actually struggled with ADHD from a young age. He was diagnosed and was able to take proper precautions and medications. With this, the singer-songwriter was able to rise up and become one of the most respected and well renown singer and musicians today.
Adam Levine, the famous singer and lead vocalist of the multi awarded band, Maroon 5, also struggled with ADHD since he was young and even until now as an adult. In 2014, the pop rock singer joined the Own It campaign, an ADHD Awareness campaign, to make a Public Service Announcement.
Early Diagnosis
When Adam Levine was in school, he had trouble focusing on finishing his schoolworks. It was hard for him to be in one place and to just sit down. Nevertheless, his parents, who are both doctors, were very supportive in his treatment. However, Adam Levine is also proof that some people with ADHD may find it difficult to overcome it despite treatment. This goes to show that even until we become fully mature adults, we can still be affected by ADHD.
As such, we must value having a visit to the doctor as much as we can.
Adam Levine does not disclose his whole experience with ADHD to the public, but his act of admitting to the world that he has one is inspirational and encouraging, especially for people with ADHD.
